Sinclair House offers four guest rooms, each with its own private bath:

Africa Room

A hand-made quilt with a fan design covers the King bed and sculpted wooden carvings from West Africa decorate the walls. Botswana baskets and hand-woven mohair tapestries from Southern Africa also encourage a feeling that you are taking a vicarious trip to "The Dark Continent." As for flowers, an African Violet, of course!

The exotic atmosphere of the Africa Room ensures a perfect Getaway from your everyday cares.

Indonesia Room

Check behind the door to find the unusual conical chest of drawers, a unique product turned out by the artisans of Java. A carved wooden frame opens to reveal a wall-mounted mirror. Also gracing the walls are silver-plated figurines from Solo and batiks from Bali. The King bed is covered by a hand-sewn quilt produced in Bandung by an Indonesian womens' cooperative.

The Indonesian archipelago consists of thousands of islands spread over three time zones. You will drift away to the magic of that far-off land in the Indonesia Room.

Morocco Room

On offer are a King bed, or else two twin beds. Hand-painted headboards and matching tables were produced in Chefchaouen, a remote ancient hideaway located high up in the Atlas Mountains. A bride's veil adorns one wall near a collection of decorative rose water bottles. Antique wooden bowls from Morocco's southern Tuareg region are visible behind the door. Displayed above the headboards is a brass tray painstakingly crafted in one of the mysterious dark alleys of Fez. The small bamboo set of table and chairs --- from Casablanca, to be sure!

Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman definitely would have chosen this room for their romantic interlude.

Peru Room

The atmosphere is a mix of Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Cuzco and of course, Lima. The country's famous hand-painted mirrors are on display, as are hand-knit textiles with designs thousands of years old. An Inca brass diety with semi-precious stone eyes gazes down at the Queen bed and a sampling of Peru's ingenious handicrafts are on shelves or mounted on the wall..

This setting also provides an intimate and quiet atmosphere for sharing with that special someone.
